Butterfly Bear

Hello! It's the last week of our birthday celebration month at Tuesday Morning Sketches. This weeks theme to go along with the sketch is stamping, so a super easy one! I used another Penny Black stamp, this one is called Butterfly Bear. The bear was done with my Prisma colored pencils, the butterflies were done with my copics then covered with Stickles. In place of ribbon I used a daisy chain flower punch and added some buttons. Used some scraps of paper to make little flag banners and called it done. Thanks for stopping by an be sure to check out what the rest of the DT has come up with this week.

Hello

It's week 3 of the anniversary celebration month at Tuesday Morning Sketches! This week it's the sketch plus embellishments as our theme. That's an easy one! I used enamel dots for mine. I was going to also use washi tape as this would be a good sketch for that too but went with some paper scraps instead. The flower is a no name die set I bought off Amazon, used a Simon Says Stamp die cut for my sentiment. I'll admit this sketch had me at first but really like how it turned out!! Be sure to stop by and see what the rest of the DT has come up with! Challenges I'm entering are listed below.

Father Christmas

Hello! Our Anniversary Celebration continues this week at Tuesday Morning Sketches. This week the theme to go along with the sketch is Christmas in July. I'm not a big "Santa" person but awhile back I won some High Hopes stamps and this Father Christmas Block caught my eye. It was fun to color, I love the way the image is framed. I also picked up the kitty framed image, I'm sure you'll be seeing a card with that in the future. The prize this week fits the theme Christmas, a picture is posted below. Can't wait to see what you'll come up with this week! Be sure to stop by an see what the rest of the DT has done this week.

Ladybug Ladybug

Hello! It's Tuesday so that means its time for a new sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches. This month we are celebrating our 8th Anniversary! We are having special themes each week to go along with our sketches and prizes to match! Hope you can come join in the fun. This week the theme is Die Cuts! I went all the way die cuts with my card, even the sentiment. I LOVE playing with my dies so this was a perfect theme for me. My lady bugs are from Elizabeth Craft Designs and the sentiment is Spellbinders. I think I ended up making like 4 cards with this quick and easy layout. Just changed up the color and sentiments. A quick one to build up the card stash for sure. Can't wait to see what everyone comes up with. Be sure to check out what the rest of the DT has come up with.

Lady Bug Fluffles

Hello! It's Tuesday so that means it's new sketch time at Tuesday Morning Sketches! This time round it's one of my own sketches. I used another of the ever so cute Fluffles stamps. This one is called Lady Bug Fluffles. I once again colored with my copics and then shaded around it with some TH distress ink.  I used my Stampin Up stitched clouds embossing folder for the background and used a piece of gingham paper from my scrap box. Added some rhinestones and wooden ladybugs and called it done. Love the summer feel this card has. That's it for now be sure to stop by the rest of the DT and see what they have created this week!

Thanks a Latte

Today I have another card to share with you for the Summer Coffee Lover's Blog hop.  I just love this cup image from the Stampin Up Perfect Blend set, which I sadly now seem to have misplaced. :-( I fear it may have fallen in the trash and got thrown out?! I'm glad I had stamped up a bunch of images when I first got the set to play with and paper piece. Will be sad when those are all used up. I paired it with the Tim Holtz coffee cup embossing folder. Embossed on Kraft cardstock and than ran my white ink pad over it. Used some scraps of paper, ribbon, and twine off my table to finish it off. The sentiment on the cup is from a different company and at the moment I can't think of the name? Picked it up at a stamp show. Thanks so much for stopping by! Be sure to check back tomorrow for the new Tuesday Morning Sketch!

Party Pup

Hello! Well I've been on a "guy" card roll this past month it seems?? That's a good thing cause my stash was low and I always seem to struggle more with those?! It's so much easier to make "girly" stuff!! I had bought this 6x6 DVWV pad of paper online and didn't realize that it was a glossy cardstock kinda paper. At first I was really disappointed but after making this card I think it turned out great. Sometimes stepping out of the norm is a good thing I guess?? My pup is a digital image from Bugaboo Stamps, it's part of the Birthday Puppy set. Once again colored with Copics and I added Glossy Accent to his nose. Thanks for stopping by. One cup at a Time

Hello! So I've been seeing these Coffee Lover Blog hops for awhile now usually over on my friend Stacy's blog when she plays along. She sent me the invite to the FB group awhile ago so I could follow along. Finally decided today's new Hop is the day to join in! Now I'm NOT a coffee drinker and actually can't even stand the smell of it! Don't hate me! But I am a BIG tea drinker, usually iced (ALL year long!) but in the winter or if I'm cold or feeling under the weather I drink it hot. But I make all kinds of cards coffee, tea and cocoa included! Today's card uses the Tim Holtz Sizzix  Bigz Tea Time die. I paired it with this pretty My Mind's Eye Doubled sided paper, thought it made the prettiest vintage looking teacups! I added a piece of paper doily and some roses to finish it off. The sentiment is MFT. Thanks for stopping by I hope to play along some more and try to get around to look at some of the other pretty cards joining in the hop. Have a great day!

Ribbit

Hello! Today I have another adorable card to share with you using the frog with glasses digital image from Sami Stamps. Isn't he just the cutest??! I colored him with my Copic markers. I added Glossy Accent to his glasses but it doesn't show well in my picture. It's hard to tell but the background paper says Happy Birthday. Love how this one turned out! Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great day!!

Batter Batter Swing!  Hey there it's Tuesday so time for a new sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches. When I first saw this sketch I thought I'd either do a Birthday or Christmas card! I was playing around with this adorable little hedgie for another challenge an all of a sudden I thought baseball diamond and remembered this sketch an thought it would be perfect for it! I did change my layers around but still keep the basic layout. My image is colored with both Copics and Prismacolor pencils. I just can't get the fur to look right with my markers. I added some Glossy Accents to the little ladybug, Love that stuff! Thanks so much for stopping by. Please be sure to check out what the rest of the DT has come up with.

Feeling Peachy

Hello! Tis the season of lots of fresh fruit. Love most all fruits but I LOVE fresh peach cobbler! Served warm with Vanilla Ice Cream. Yum! Early Peaches are just starting here in South Central PA so I see a Peach Cobbler in my very near future. My card uses a old PSX stamp colored with copics. This one didn't turn out quite like I pictured it but guess it will do! Ok off to work on some cards have a nice day and see you back here tomorrow for the new Tuesday Morning Sketch.

Hello! Today's card just screams summer to me! What is a picnic without the ants and/or bees?! I went with a patriotic color scheme for my card. Lovin the country feel this card has. I've found my card mojo this past week so now if I just get some of them into blog posts! I sure struggle with this side of things. Thanks for stopping by and hopefully I'll have another card to share tomorrow!

Serenity Prayer

Hello!! It's Tuesday so that means it's time for a new sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches. Can I say that I just Love this sketch and I absolutely LOVE my card?!! I think it would look nice framed as a mini picture?!! Can't remember exactly who the stamp is from? I won a bunch of unmounted stamps years ago and this was one of them. Thinking It might have been a company called Heart & Soul? Can't find anything on them so I think they are no longer in business. Anyway I can't wait to see what you'll come up with. Thanks for stopping by and be sure to check out what the rest of the DT has come up with.

All Dressed Up

Hello! It's time for another new sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches!  I have yet another card using this adorable Penny Black Puppy. He is just to cute and a perfect image for Father's Day cards, in my opinion anyway! He is also colored with copics with some glossy accents added to his nose (Be sure to check out my earlier post this week to see a picture of one of our fur babies dressed up in his tie! You can find it here.) I layered several Spellbinders Label 3 dies and ran a piece of jute ribbon in between them. I added some texture to my bottom label with my much loved SU lattice embossing folder. Finished off with some silver bling. I LOVE the colors on this one a lot. Challenges I'm entering are listed below. Thanks for stopping by and be sure to check out what the rest of the DT has come up with.

Happy Tails

Hello! I seem to be on a masculine card roll here of late??! And I know there is another one for sure this week. I just LOVE this little guy! I wish there was a cat version of this stamp. My cat may or may not have a tie of his own?!?  My husband has this guy very spoiled and this cat will but up with anything if it means he gets treats in the end. He has quite the costume collection. Everyone gets a kick out picking things up for him.  I swear he acts more like a puppy then a cat most days. Anyhow back to my card! It is colored with copic markers and I added some glossy accents to his nose. The paper is from a Bo Bunny 6x6 pad called Happy Tails Collection. List of challenges I'm entering are listed below. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Deer Dad

Hello!! Another Father's Day card for you today. I Love using this stamp cause I think it looks so nice with no coloring? Actually that's the only way I have ever used it! This sketch works out great for this image. Think I will make 1 or 2 more just like this but with  a birthday sentiment?! Good way to build up my stash! I went with a vintage look for my card, with some distressing and a monochromatic color scheme. I've decided it's time to look for a "Dad" die cut, I think that would have looked nice on this card. I masked off this Dad sentiment from a larger sentiment stamp. Ok that's it for now so glad you stopped by, I enjoy reading all your comments. Challenges are listed below.

Hello! Time for some Father's Day cards. Today's card uses a free digi from Beccy's Place called Building Tools. Perfect image for masculine cards. This card ended up looking kinda Patriotic but I still like how it turned out. I used some no name brand stitched star dies I bought off Amazon and also added some white star brads for some added texture/dimension. Finished it off with a diamond plate embossing folder on some silver paper. That's it for now but hope to have another one for you tomorrow, thanks for stopping by! Flowery Birthday

Hello!! Time for another new sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches. When I first saw this sketch I thought wedding card but I ended up going in a totally different direction! I'm always in need of building up my birthday stash, I still may end up trying a wedding card later though. My card is pretty simple and showcases some very pretty paper. It's from a 6x6 pad and was a mark down of 1.99  at AC Moore's awhile back. I liked it so much I may have went back for a few more! ;-)  Be sure to check out what the rest of the DT has come up with. Challenges I'm entering are listed below. Every Breath

Hello!! It's Tuesday so that means it's new sketch time at Tuesday Morning Sketches! This week it's a great sketch for those larger images. I used one of my ADORABLE Phyllis Harris stamps from Unity Stamps. This one is called Every Breath. I used a piece of vintage lace gifted to me by my friend Stacy and topped it with a piece of crocheted lace from my own stash. I kept wanting to add other embellishments but thought it best to do less this go round. Once again this card looks so much better in real life compared to my poor quality photo! Thanks for stopping by and be sure to check out what the rest of the DT has done with this weeks sketch! Challenges I'm entering are listed below.
