Just to say....

Hello! Time for another throw back sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches! This week it was Patti's turn to pick her favorite from last year. I used an adorable Stampavie stamp from the Laurence Collection called  Just to say..... Isn't it adorable??! It was colored with my Prisma pencils. The die cut sentiment is Spellbinders. Finished it off with some nail heads. This one will be a nice flat one for mailing. Something that doesn't happen often for me! Ok that's it for now but be sure to stop by and check out what the rest of the DT has come up with this week.

Stitched Violets

Hello! Well I seem to have finally found my mojo over the weekend. I think these new dies I got might have helped?!! I've been wanting these wonky stitched dies by Avery Elle for a long while. Finally caved an got them, darn Amazon Prime strikes again! ;-) I used Flourishes Sweet Violets on my card. They were heat embossed and colored with my Prisma pencils. I used the Your Next Stamp sketch. I keep it mostly white (which I hardly ever do!) and just added a touch of gingham. Finished it off with some buttons/twine. I like it, think it really makes the stitching pop?! Thanks so much for stopping by. Challenges are listed below.

Dandelion Wishes

Hello! Finally got a bit of mojo and played with one of my Christmas presents, a Misti! I think I'm really going to like this tool a lot. Sure makes embossing so much easier, I can ink the stamp several times and make sure I have good coverage for the embossing powder to stick. I used Unity's Wish with Your Heart stamp set for my card. The Happy Birthday sentiment wouldn't fit where I needed it to so I went with the happy wishes instead. What it really needs is a Birthday wishes sentiment. Anyway after embossing I sponged around the images with some distress inks to make them pop! I even did some embossing on the inside of my card. I distressed all my edges and finished it off with some burlap/lace & pearls. I was very pleased with the results! Thanks so much for stopping by and dropping me a comment it makes my day! List of challenges is listed below.

Thinking of You

Hello! This week at Tuesday Morning Sketches it was my turn to pick a favorite sketch from this past year. I went with this lovely sketch by Melissa. Love all the layers and those little flags. It was the perfect sketch to showcase some of this lovely new designer paper that I just got from Stampin Up called, Petal Garden. My sentiment is from Justrite and the leaves surrounding it are from Paper Smooches. I wanted to make this a Mother's day card but didn't have the right size sentiment to fit the die cut I had chosen. Love the colors so pretty! Thanks so much for stopping by and be sure to check out what the rest of the DT had made this week.

Bundle of Hearts

Hello! Time for another flash back sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches. This week it was Debbie's pick. I liked this sketch too, right up my alley with lots of layers! I used a Crafty Sentiments Designs digital stamp called Bundle of Hearts. Isn't he just the cutest little guy?!!  I added some enamel dots and some pretty red lacey trim that was gifted to be by my friend Stacy! Thanks so much for stopping by and be sure to stop by and see what the rest of the DT has come up with this week.

Join-In

Hello and Happy New Year! It's time at Tuesday Morning Sketches for us to visit some of our favorite sketches from the past year. This week it's Carol's pick and it happens to be one of my sketches. I used a Penny Black image for my card, it's called "Join-In". Colored with my Prisma colored pencils, I've really been on a coloring kick with my pencils lately. I bet I've colored over 50 images in the past week? Now to just get the card making mojo going.......seems to be MIA but at least I'm building up my box of already colored images stocked up! Thanks for stopping by and be sure to check out what the rest of the DT has come up with.
