Thinking of You

Hello! It's Tuesday so that means it's new sketch time once again at Tuesday Morning Sketches. Let me say this card was a REAL struggle! Seem to be having a lot of those lately. It's not my favorite by any means but it's done! The image has been in my box for ages and I have no clue what it is. I tried adding some sequins and should have stopped there but.....got out a bottle of white enamel and went a little crazy making dots. I like them on the butterfly but not so much in the center of the sequins. Live an learn and better luck next week! LOL Anyway Thanks for stopping by and be sure to stop by and see what the rest of the DT has come up with this week.

Woodland Creatures

Hello! Today I have a masculine card to share with you, using a digi stamp that I bought from Graphique off Etsy years ago. I usually just use this as a B&W but did give it a bit of color this time round. I love the realistic look of the image. The papers are from a new "masculine" Paper Studio pad I picked up on one of my many trips to Hobby Lobby recently. That darn HUGE 75% off clearance they did in stages in the paper craft section got me. It's kinda sad though as now the stamp section is going to be so small. :-(  But at least there was new paper pads I guess??! I shiny metallic paper came from the stamp show that comes to the area annually. I finished it off with some Jute ribbon and twine. Love how this one turned out. Thanks for stopping by and be sure to check back tomorrow for the new Tuesday Morning Sketch. List of challenges is listed below.

Apple of My Eye

Hello! It's Tuesday so that means it's time for a brand new sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches. I took a few liberties with the sketch this week! Flipped it for one and used this large cut out apple image from the former Flourishes stamp company called Apple of My Eye. It is colored with my Prisma Color pencils. I used a SU embossing folder for the background. It kinda looked like/reminded me of apple cores??!! My picture doesn't due it justice. My phone is starting to crap out on me and camera/picture quality is not near as good as it used to be. Guess maybe I've dropped it one to many times?! Just hate the thought of getting/learning a new phone but it soon will be necessary I fear as it's starting to randomly shut off too. Anyway thanks so much for stopping by and be sure to check out what the rest of the DT has come up with this week. Hope you get to play along.

Fergus with Tulips

Hello! Today I have and older (and probably retired) Wild Rose Studio stamp/card to share with you. This is Fergus isn't he adorable?! I think he would make a nice Mother's day card? I didn't have a small enough "Mom" stamp to fit in his little tag and didn't want to risk messing it up with my hand writing so have left it blank for now? He is colored with my Prisma color pencils and Gamsol. That's it for now thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your day! Challenges are listed below.

Play Ball

Hello! It's the last flash back week at Tuesday Morning Sketches. Next week we will be back with all new sketches. It was Melissa's pick this week. I'll admit I struggled with this sketch both times I did it. I even bought a die for it this time! But I have to say that I LOVE how this turned out! When I was playing around with what I wanted to do all of a sudden I thought baseball cause that white panel sorta reminded me of a home plate??!! Anyway I had this baseball laying on my desk that I made ages ago and paried it with some stitched stars and a few star brads and called it a success! Think I will be remaking this one again? Maybe trying a different sport next time? I always struggle with "boy" cards and I think this makes a perfect card for that. Thanks so much for stopping by! Be sure to check out what the rest of the DT has done with this sketch.

Love

Hello! Today I have a Valentine to share with you. I recently came across this SU die used for $10 and just had to grab it up! The heart is cut out of a pearlescent white lightweight cardstock. It really shimmers although you can't really tell in my photo. I cut out extra flowers to give it more dimension and added pearls to them. The "love" die cut is from a Peachy Cheap online deal. I was going to add my ribbon/bow across the top of the card but than I thought if I but it over the heart it kinda looked like a box of Valentine candy?! Anyway I was very pleased with how this one turned. Thanks so much for stopping by! List of challenges is listed below.

Peek a boo!

Hello! This week at Tuesday Morning Sketches it Jenee's turn to pick a blast from the past and it happens to be one of mine! I used a Penny Black image again this week, not sure the name on this one and didn't have time to try an look it up online. The image came from a swap. I colored it with my copics. Short and sweet this week . Thanks for stopping by and be sure to check out what the rest of the DT has come up with this week. List of Challenges is listed below.

Hippity Hoppity

Hello! I'm getting a jump start on my Easter cards today. Only stamping is the sentiment. I just love this little bunny die from Papertrey Ink, it makes the cutest cards! I added it to a stitched circle die cut, my favorite way to add stitching on a card. I'd never be able to sew a straight with a real machine! Ha! Now I think I may need to add to my collection with some stitched cloud dies?! Would have been cute on this card for sure. Anyway thanks so much for stopping by and have a great day! List of challenges is below.
